Are Keurig Coffee Makers Or Tassimo Coffee Makers Better?

!±8± Are Keurig Coffee Makers Or Tassimo Coffee Makers Better?

Which of the popular coffee maker pods should you choose? The two most popular options are Keurig coffee makers and Tassimo coffee makers. They provide similar functionality but there are several differences between the two brands that can help you make your decision.

It's important to note to begin with that you can't go wrong with either of these two choices. Both companies are very highly rated and the people who buy them are almost always thrilled with their decisions. So the choice between a Keurig and a Tassimo isn't life or death, it really comes down to personal preferences.

Keurig Coffee Makers
Keurig has at least six different main models that run the gamut in terms of price range and features. The good news is that even the cheapest models, coming in at around or produce the same great coffee in the same quick time as the more expensive models.

The differences lie in style, design and the size of the water reservoir, as well as intended use. For example, they have a model designed specifically as an office coffee maker that is built to be rugged and withstand a constant bombardment of uses.

The coffee maker pods for Keurig are called K Cups. Keurig produces their own wide range of flavors and tastes. In addition, they have partnerships with many popular coffee manufacturers. You can get your Keurig K Cups with Caribou Coffee, Green Mountain, Newman's Organics, Emeril's and many others.

Tassimo Coffee Makers

Tassimo has their machines made by both Bosch and Braun. There are less total models available and while there are cheap options, on the whole they are a bit more expensive than what Keurig offers.

However, they are extraordinarily fast. With a Tassimo you can make your coffee in under a minute from start to finish, offering extreme convenience and ease of use. Another benefit to the Tassimo brand is that their coffee maker pods come in Starbucks coffee flavors. No other pods offer Starbucks, so if you're a fiend for them and want to indulge at your home or office, than it makes sense to go and get a Tassimo.

The bottom line is that both Keurig coffee makers and Tassimo coffee makers are extremely easy to use and produce great coffee. With Keurig you will have more choices in terms of the coffee that is available and the models. With Tassimo you will be able to enjoy Starbucks coffee in less than a minute. Both brands are popular and loved by those who use them.

!±8± Keurig Single Serve Coffee Makers - Which Keurig Brewer For K-Cups is Right For You and Your Budget?

Keurig has an outstanding line of single cup coffee makers. Every model makes a terrific cup of gourmet coffee, simply, quickly and without driving to the local coffee house. Saving money never tasted so good! But first you have to decide which Keurig coffee brewer to buy.

Keurig single cup coffee makers use revolutionary technology that keeps getting better. It delivers exactly the right amount of water at the perfect temperature and with the correct pressure, extracting the best coffee flavor every time. Select your favorite gourmet coffee in a K-Cup container, place it in the machine, press a button and start brewing the perfect coffee with no mess to cleanup.

Rest assured that all of these popular models use the same brewing system. Since your coffee will taste great no matter which model you chose, he higher priced Keurig systems simply offer more features and convenience.

One of these Keurig single cup brewers will fit your needs and your budget. But which one? Here's all you need to choose the right Keurig for you.

Compact Size and Basic Features: Keurig Mini Brewer. The Keurig Mini Brewer is the smallest Keurig, with only the most basic features. It's the best choice for easy storage and smaller spaces, like vacation homes, cabins, college dorms, boats, RVs, and home office desktops. Even with its small size, the Keurig Mini Brewer is just as easy to use and brews an 8 ounce cup just like the regular brewers.

I like the mini brewer for making coffee right at my my home office desk. I can brew a terrific cup of coffee in about 3 minutes without any mess and it tastes great every time.

Entry Level for Your Kitchen: Keurig Elite Brewer. The Elite Brewing System is Keurig's gourmet home brewing made affordable. Available for around 0, the Keurig Elite is the lowest priced Keurig with a water reservoir. While the Mini Brewer is smaller and costs less, the Elite offers several conveniences you will enjoy. You can select two different cup sizes for brewing (8 ounce or 10 ounce), and it has a programmable Auto On/Off. Plus, the 48 oz. removable water reservoir lets you brew up to 8 cups of coffee before refilling. You will also like the removable drip tray that lets you fill a travel mug easily and makes cleaning easier.

The Elite is the right choice for putting a no frills, single serve Keurig coffee maker in your kitchen. Great coffee, but economy looks.

More Options and Better Looking: Special Edition Keurig Brewer. The Special Edition Brewing System offers additional conveniences and attractive styling for your kitchen. With all of the features of the Elite Brewer, it adds a third size for brewing (you can choose between 6, 8 and 10 oz cups). You'll like how this shines on your counter top, with its attractive chrome accents and blue, back lit LCD display.

I like the three brew size options, which go great with the 48 oz. removable water reservoir. As with all Keurigs, you get great coffee and easy cleanup.

The Most Options: Platinum Brewing System. You can step up to the Platinum Brewing System, which gives you the widest range of five different cup size options for brewing. The Platinum includes a complete list of convenient features, including Auto On/Off, Digital Clock, Adjustable Temperature Control and the "Set Your Favorite Cup Size" option.

The larger, 60 oz. removable water reservoir holds up to ten cups before refilling. You can use your favorite travel mug, too because of the removable drip tray. The looks can't be beat.

The Ultimate: Breville Coffee Maker. For the very best coffee maker using Keurig technology and K-Cups, consider the upscale Keurig-Breville coffee system. Offered through high-end small kitchen appliance manufacturer, Breville, this model has a polished stainless steel exterior, a 64 oz reservoir with a built-in water filtration system that I like. With all of the features of the Platinum and more, you can adjust coffee temperature and choose between four brew strength sizes. It includes a dishwasher safe, reusable My K-Cup filter so you can use your own ground coffee. The reusable filter even fits into storage built into the top of the Breville.

The Breville system costs more, but I do like the adjustable temperature and reusable filter features that this model gives you.

You can compare these four Keurig models on this Keurig Coffee Maker comparison page.
